In Loving Memory of Our Departed Loved Ones – Church Reconstruction Fund
The month of November holds a special place in the hearts of Christians as we remember our dearly departed loved ones and offer prayers for the repose of their souls.
In this spirit of love, faith, and remembrance, St. Michael the Archangel’s Church, Homagama, invites you to take part in a special campaign dedicated to remembering those who have gone before us while supporting the reconstruction of our beloved church.
As part of this initiative, a special Holy Mass will be celebrated on 28th November at 5:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Dikhaththama. During the Holy Mass, the names of your departed loved ones will be prayerfully read aloud by the priest, and special prayers will be offered for the repose of their souls.
We warmly invite families and well-wishers, both in Sri Lanka and overseas, to submit the names of their departed loved ones and make a voluntary contribution towards the Church Reconstruction Fund of St. Michael the Archangel’s Church, Homagama.
Your contribution, offered in loving memory of someone dear to you, will not only support the restoration of our church but will also become a meaningful expression of faith, gratitude, and remembrance.
Every contribution, regardless of its amount, is valuable and deeply appreciated. Together, let us honour the memory of our departed loved ones through prayer and help preserve our church for generations to come.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
